The first grandson of Blake Carrington to be born was "Little-Blake" Jeffrey Colby, son of Jeff Colby and Fallon Carrington. Born to a life of wealth and power, his very name symbolizes this. Fallon gave birth to a son in 1982, after going into premature labor after a car accident with her mother Alexis. Fallon was in a state of deep depression (post partum ) after giving birth, and it was Jeff who named his son after the man who had been like a father to him, Blake. So "Little Blake", or L.B. for short, entered the world of the Carringtons and the Colbys.

Not long after he was brought home from the hospital, L.B. was kidnappeed by the father of one of his grandmother's old lovers. He was found quickly enough, but the event took its toll on his parents. L.B. had plenty of doting relatives to watch over him, but it was Kirby Anders who gave him the most attention as his nanny. Soon there was another child in the house, L.B.'s cousin Danny, and the two were almost inseparable.

L.B. has had his own knocks though: Fallon was missing for over a year, and Jeff brought de Vilbis to the mansion as his wife and she was very abusive to L.B. Later, L.B. moved to California with his father, and was reunited with Fallon, and a whole host of relatives he never knew. Life in California wasn't easy either. Shortly after his arrival, he contracted meningitis. Later, his new uncle's wife Channing could be very rude to him, and often blamed L.B. for things of her own doing. L.B.'s life returned to normal when his family moved back to Denver.

He was the model child, handsome and polite, much like his father. His best friend was his cousin Danny, and he treated Krystina just as he did his sister Lauren. From all indications, it appears that L.B. Colby will be one of the leaders in the next generation of Carringtons and Colbys.
