Previous Episode : The Vote I

Scene 1 : Carrington Mansion (Master Bedroom)

Krystle cannot go to sleep because she is so consumed with stopping Alexis from destroying Blake. Blake just wants Krystle to drop this Alexis killed Cecil angle. He also wants her to stay at home with Danny. But she can't, there is no place for her now that Steven is back.

Scene 2 : Carrington Mansion (Vestibule)

Chris calls Steven. He would like to meet him and talk about the divorce proceedings. Blake overhears the conversation and tells Steven he is right to initiate a divorce, a single father can do a good job too. But Steven says he will not remain single until Danny is 18. Blake wants to know what he means even if he already knows. So he asks why he can't fall again in love with a woman, after it all it happened with Claudia. Steven retorts that he shared something special with Claudia. Blake lets his son know that Claudia is at the High Meadow Sanitarium : maybe he should visit here there. Steven agrees to visit her but not for the reason his father suggests. Blake should face the truth : Steven is gay and just like Sammy Jo told him a little while before, he can't change.

Scene 3 : Carrington Mansion (Stairs)

Joseph gives a letter to Jeff. Jeff thinks it's the right moment for two of them to talk.

Scene 4 : Carrington Mansion (Library)

Jeff asks Joseph to stop calling him Mr. Jeffrey and start calling him Jeff. But Joseph does not want to. He feels already enough unconfortable because of this situation. He considers Kirby and Jeff to be from a too different background. Also, he suspects Jeff to still be in love with Fallon. Jeff is not pleased with that. What pleased him however, it's to find out the letter he received is from Princeton : Little Blake has been officially registered there.

Scene 5 : Carrington Mansion (Nursery/Stairs)

Jeff tells Fallon the news. While they share a happy moment (remembering the time they smoked marijuana together and the dance they had on the jet before their wedding), Kirby catches them.

Scene 6 : Denver Carrington (Blake's office)/ColbyCo (Alexis' office)

Blake phones Alexis. She asks him if it has something to do with Krystle's "vendetta" but he says it has nothing to do with it. He disapproves Colby Co's evaluation of Denver Carrington's leases in the Gulf. He will not be robbed and demands a meeting with Alexis. Alexis, now a captain of industry, suggests that Blake meet her at her apartment at 6 pm because she is a very busy woman.

Scene 7 : Classy Club (Billiard Area)

Alexis is a very busy woman indeed as her first order of business is to go to some classy club. Feeling the pressure mounting on her, Alexis tries to woo Gerald to take on ColbyCo as a client. Gerald refuses to take Alexis up on her offer.

Scene 8 : La Mirage (Pro Shop)

Mark and Fallon kiss while he is showing her the gloves she needs to play tennis. Their liaison is back on tracks.

Scene 9 : Carrington Mansion (Pool Area)

Kirby has found some nice places in Denver where she could live with Jeff. But Jeff does not like them. When Kirby shows some aggravation, Jeff tells her he thought of something. He grown up with Cecil in a mansion close to the Carrington Estate. Now, Alexis inherited the mansion but since she lives in a penthouse, Jeff may be able to repurchase it. Kirby is pleased with the suggestion.

Scene 10 : Building Exterior

It appears Krystle may go along with Blake's decision but then Gerald Wilson has a change of heart. In fact, Gerald is still bitter about his firing that he breaks his ethical obligations and provides Krystle with proof that Cecil changed his will shortly before he married Alexis (and when he died). In the revised will, Cecil leaves his entire estate to Alexis.

Scene 11 : Denver Carrington (Blake's office)

Krystle is prepared to go public with this information but Blake stops her. The change of the will proves nothing more than that Cecil was madly in love with Alexis and just wanted to show how much he loved her. There is no evidence that Alexis pressured Cecil into marriage or into changing his will. Krystle believes the innuendo would be enough to undermine Alexis and force her to stop the merger. Blake still holds on to his noble concepts of clear business and rebuffs Krystle.

Scene 12 : Sanatorium

Steven does visit Claudia at the sanatorium. Claudia is looking good but the meeting between the two does not go well as Claudia thinks Steven is there out of pity and she does not need pity.

Scene 13 : Carrington Mansion (Garage Area)

Fallon sees Kirby in the garden and comes to talk to her. She wants to make peace with her as she really hopes her marriage with Jeff works. She has accepted it now and promises not to be a threat. But Kirby does not trust her, especially since after what she saw in the nursery. Fallon thinks she is overeacting and maybe it's Jeff that she does not trust. Then Kirby feels it's a little bit dizzy. When Fallon tries to take her to the mansion, Kirby says she can't do it herself. It's Fallon's attitude who makes her sick.

Scene 14 : Penthouse

Alexis arrives late to her penthouse meeting with Blake but she needs to change first into something more comfortable before going over the Denver Carrington evaluation figures.

Scene 15 : Carrington Mansion (Library)

Fallon asks Krystle why Blake is not at home yet. Krystle, who looks worried, tells her she is with Alexis. Fallon tells her not to worry about it. But Krystle thinks there is some unfinished business between them and she is not talking about the boardroom. That's why Blake never really tries to have Alexis out of theirs lives despite what he is always promising.

Scene 16 : Penthouse

Alexis returns in a stunning outfit which Blake calls lovely and Alexis believes the two will enjoy a wonderful evening together. Blake decides to call Krystle to invite her over. That does not sit well with Alexis who agrees to have the meeting the following day. Alexis seriously was going to try to seduce Blake again and when he rejected her (promising to use what Krystle found out on her if Alexis ever attack him or his wife personally)., Alexis's anger and hatred for Blake increased to the point that she ruined a perfectly good martini.

Scene 17 : Carrington Mansion (Master Bedroom)

Blake's attitude aggravates Krystle who thinks that Blake still has some feelings with Alexis. He tells her she could not be more wrong since he has just rejected Alexis' sexual advances. Blake promises that he will use the information against Alexis but only if Alexis tries to attack him personally.

Scene 18 : Carrington Mansion (Hallway/Lily Pound)

Joseph witnesses an awkward moment when Elizabeth, a maid, calls Kirby "Mrs. Colby" and when Kirby insists that she calls her "Kirby" as she always did. Joseph asks his daughter to come with him outside. Then he tells that she is now an "upstairs lady", she has to assume her position. She can't be "Kirby" anymore to the staff. Kirby asks him if that includes him. He replies that she is right. That's why he is anxious to see her leaving with Jeff for another house. Kirby is actually expecting the same thing, but for a different reason.

Scene 19 : Denver Carrington (Blake's office)

Adam, realizing that Alexis is more interested in Steven than in him, comes to see Blake and apologizes for his mother's belligence. He does not want to be Blake's ennemy. At this moment, Blake receives a call. Adam hears that Blake did get Congressman McVane to stall approval of the merger

Scene 20 : ColbyCo (Alexis' office)

Adam informs Alexis. Alexis is angered that she cannot merge the two companies right away. But, Alexis has something on Congressman McVane and she is more than happy to share that information with the Denver Chronicle.

Scene 21 : La Mirage (Tennis courts)

Fallon and Mark are playing tennis on La Mirage's courts. She is obviously happy and she admits that she has accepted Jeff's wedding now. So Mark asks her if she is ready to commit herself in serious relationship. She is unsure about that. But he states he is sure of himself. He doesn't want to be wowanizer anymore but a serious husband. Fallon seems troubled by this statement.

Scene 22 : ColbyCo (Alexis's office)

Claire Maynard is less interested by Alexis' information about McVane than what Gerald Wilson seems to be telling others about Cecil's will, or at least that he knows of Alexis's skeletons. When she interviews Alexis, she hints at the circumstances of Cecil's death. This angers Alexis but the reporter rightfully notes, that even speculation could cause a scandal, let alone harm Alexis's business empire. Alexis is not thrilled about the prospect of either.

Scene 23 : Carrington Mansion (Conservatory/Hallway)

Chris comes at the mansion. He talked to Sammy Jo but she wants money for her divorce. She says Steven has been unfaithful to her and has lovers. Men. Steven replies that it is false, it's actually she who cheated her with a sleazy photographer in Hollywood. Steven and Chris are clearly enjoying their time together, which is spotted by Blake. When Chris leaves, he asks Steven to come with him in the library.

Scene 24 : Carrington Mansion (Library)

Blake wants to know exactly what kind of relationship Steven has with that guy. Steven does not like to be questioned by his father. But Blake insists. If Steven is going to raise Danny, he has to give up his "homosexual lifestyle". Steven is furious about his father's interference. He can't live in the mansion if he can't live that kind of life he wants to. So he is is going to move out with Danny and raise his son as a single parent. Blake does not want that, especially when the parent is a gay. Krystle tries to calm the two but it does not work. Steven has made up his mind, but Blake will not accept it. Krystle tells Blake he must see Steven's point of view or else the two of them could lose both of them forever.
