Previous Episode : The Downstairs Bride

Scene 1 : Denver Airport

Steven returns to Denver to be whisked to his mother's penthouse by Alexis' chauffeur.

Scene 2 : Carrington Mansion (Library)

Jeff informs Blake he will go to the meeting with the board members. Then, Krystle tells Blake that she wants to go after Alexis the way she has gone after them, but Blake believes he will win over Alexis without character assassination.

Scene 3 : Penthouse

Alexis still tries to convince Steven to come work at Colby Co. Steven cannot decide on what to do career-wise until he decides what to do with Danny.

Scene 4 : Carrington Mansion (Jeff's room)

Before Jeff leaves, she proposes to pick up him at his office and to go house-hunting. He says another day.

Scene 5 : Carrington Mansion (Dining Room)

Steven is determined to divorce from Sammy Jo and raise Danny on his own. There is just one problem, he does not have any money to pay a lawyer and his money and past pay checks have been tied up. Fallon agrees to give him whatever he wants.

Scene 6 : La Mirage (El Matador Bar)

Blake's whish does not stop Krystle from finding out whether Alexis had anything to do with the death of Cecil. In order to get the goods, Krystle finds those from the past with first hand knowledge. Krystle first meets up with Gerald Wilson, former head counsel at ColbyCo. Gerald claims that he despises Alexis because she fired him soon after Cecil's death. Regardless, Gerald refuses to help Krystle because it would violate his ethical obligations.

Scene 7 : Denver Carrington (Meeting Room)

Blake is happy to see that his cowardly Board members have bothered to show up and not answer his phone calls.

Scene 8 : Denver Carrington (Hallway)

Alexis is surprised to see Jeff there. He has come to protect his interests.

Scene 9 : Denver Carrington (Meeting Room)

The meeting of the Denver Carrington board members is the first real business show down between Blake and Alexis. Alexis demands that the Board approve the merger between Denver Carrington and Colby Co. Those who won't approve the merger will be fired on the spot by Alexis who will install a more pliant Board. The Board votes for the merger and Blake's approval makes it unanimous. There is surprise that Blake would agree to it, but he did so to keep an eye on Alexis and to make sure that she does not make any move concerning Denver Carrington while he tries to stop this merger.

Scene 10 : Denver Memorial

Another person unwilling to help Alexis is Dr. Lowden, Cecil's doctor at the time of his heart attack. A nurse over hears Krystle speaking to Dr. Lowden about Cecil's death and she is willing to help Krystle. The nurse remembers how rude Alexis was to her so she is more than willing to discuss the peculiar nature of Alexis and Cecil's marriage.

Scene 11 : Carrington Mansion (Vestibule)

Fallon comes at lunch time to see LB. She hears Kirby on the phone saying she is looking for a house. When Kirby hang down, Fallon asks her why she wants to leave. Kirby coldly replies Fallon knows why. It will be unconfortable to stay there with Fallon around. Especially since Fallon is so angry against her because she is still in love with Jeff and hates Kirby to have marry him. But Fallon is responsible for this. Fallon says she is not love with Jeff anymore - she actually never loved him - and Kirby can't keep it. Kirby reminds her the day of the 12th birthday. Fallon insisted to make a party for her but when Jeff paid too much attention to her (Kirby), Fallon became furious and makes all the guests know that Kirby was the majordomo's daughter. But now she is not that anymore : she is equel to Fallon. Fallon tries to hide her anger and simply tells her they are not equals yet since she has a baby with Jeff - Kirby does not.

Scene 12 : Carringon Mansion (Library)

Krystle tells Blake what she learnt about the death of Cecil (actually not so much) but Blake does not approve of this tactic. He prefers relying on McVane.

Scene 13 : Penthouse

Alexis has something on Congressman McVane. It seem that McVane is having an affair with a 17 year old daughter of a governor. That should make great headlines.

Scene 14 : Carrington Mansion (Nursery)

Steven admits to Krystle that he found out in New York that Blake did not try to use his money to take Danny away from Sammy Jo. But he is not sure he wants to stay at the mansion. He has to many bad memories here. Krystle asks to think about it. She and Blake would love to have him there - and Danny.

Scene 15 : Penthouse

Mark comes to see Alexis as he was informed she wanted to reach him on the phone. Alexis is "surprised" that Mark has found some time for her. She tells him she has found out that he has an affair with her daughter and she is very displeased by that. She wants him to stop, Fallon does not need a gigolo. But Mark says he plans to be more that that. Alexis will not allow it.

Scene 16 : ColbyCo (Adam's office)

Jeff comes to see Adam at his request. Adam wants to know why Jeff came at the meeting conference. Jeff replies that Blake asked him to go over some evaluation reports of the company's assets as listed by ColbyCo. Actually he has noticed that ColbyCo's evaluation of Denver Carrington's leases in the Gulf is off by 30%.

Scene 17 : La Mirage (Upper Terrace)

Steven tells Fallon he has used his college directory to find himself a good divorce lawyer because Sammy Jo will not make this easy for him and he comes up with Chris Deegan.

Scene 18 : Office Building (Chris' office)

Deegan agrees to take the case and completely understands Steven's situation. Deegan had to get away from his own bad marriage.

Scene 19 : La Mirage (Lower Terrace)

Finally, the priest who performed the ceremony is willing to talk to Krystle about the wedding but he could not say other than Cecil was a bit hesitant about saying "I do." Alexis sees them and tells Krystle that she hopes she was saying a prayer for Blake.

Scene 20 : La Mirage (Exteriors/Fallon's office)

Alexis warns Fallon of Mark for being a "male tramp" who only uses woman for their money. Fallon does not want to hear that.

Scene 21 : La Mirage (Tennis courts)

Fallon comes to see Mark at the end of her lessons. She says he was right, she came to see him because she was hurt by Jeff's wedding. She would like him to forgive her. He accepts and proposes to changer her mind and learn her to play tennis. She likes the suggestion.

Scene 22 : ColbyCo (Alexis's office)

Upon returning from La Mirage, Alexis gets some good news as Steven has agreed to work for his mother. Alexis is over joyed to have her son there. Adam knows where Alexis's true feelings are, especially after Alexis blames Adam for a tiff with Steven for which Steven was responsible.

Scene 23 : ColbyCo (Adam's office)

Alone, Adam is about to take some prescription medicine.

Scene 24 : ColbyCo (Alexis' office)

Krystle goes to Alexis and suggests to her that she killed Cecil for his fortune. Alexis claims that Krystle cannot prove it, but Krystle does not need to prove it. All she needs to do is drop the insinuations in the press and the story will take a life of its own. If Alexis does not want to feel the heat then maybe she should withdraw from the race. Alexis feels Krystle is just bluffing, but is she?
