Scene 2 : Denver Carrington (Krystle's office)/The Peninsula Hotel (Blake's suite/Hallway)

Blake is ecstatic for making the deal of the century by being the first to get access to oil leases from the South China Sea and can wait to tell Krystle. While Krystle is on the phone, a delivery man brings some flowers for her. Before Blake can tell her that he did not send the flowers, Krystle reads the card which says "For Tracy, thanks Dex. I hope to meet you when I'm back from Los Angeles." Blake wonders what he means but Krystle remembers that she once saw Dex coming out of Tracy's office. Now Blake thinks he knows what it means, especially since Los Angeles is the place where Oscar Stone has moved in.

Scene 3 : Penthouse

Alexis learns that Blake has cut a deal for the South China Sea oil leases and phones in Honk Long to speak to Rashid. When she realizes Mark is listening to the phone, she summons him. He explains to her that he can't be a bodyguard all his life and need an expert to teach him how to make money. Alexis agrees to be the expert. Besides, she needs him on Hong Kong to guard the enormous sums of cash she will bring with her.

Scene 4 : The Peninsula Hotel (Restaurant)

Blake decides to play with Tracy to try to get her to come clean about the nature of her relationship with Dexter. At their celebratory dinner, Tracy tells Blake that she has only met Dexter once at the carousel ball. When Blake leaves the table to call about the connecting flight in San Francisco, Tracy comes up with a scheme to seduce Blake by pretending to lose one of her earrings.

Scene 7 : ColbyCo (Alexis' office)

Alexis is determined to rectify what has been cheated from her (the oil leases from the South China Sea). She blames Blake for this under-handed maneuver, but Steven, correctly, attributes the scheme to Adam. No matter to Alexis, she wants a piece of the action. Steven notices a violet corsage but Alexis can't explain what it is doing there. She calls her secretary but he tells her that no delivery man came to bring her flowers during her absence. She claims that she has nothing to do with the person who is harassing Claudia. Steven tells her that he really hopes she is not lying.

Scene 8 : Carrington Mansion (Library)

Scene 9 : The Peninsula Hotel (Hallway/Blake's suite)

After dinner, Tracy tells Blake that she lost an earring but Blake was too polite to say anything. She probably lost it in Blake's room. Tracy pretends to find the earring in Blake's room but Blake was well aware of Tracy's game because she had both earrings when dinner began. Also, he did not make a call to San Francisco but to Los Angeles where Oscar Stone confirmed him that Dexter contacted him. Confronted by Blake, Tracy admits to have told Dexter and then tries to seduce Blake. Blake fires Tracy on the spot and tells her to find her own way home. Blake already had the check in his suit jacket to buy out Tracy's contract. But Tracy tells him he has not finished with her, she knows something about Denver Carrington that could cause him a lot of troubles.

Scene 10 : Carrington Mansion (Dining Room)

Kirby has a lead as to what institution her mother may be in and wants Adam to go with her to Bismarck, North Dakota. Adam promised Kirby he would help her anyway he could and the two head up in Bismarck in search of Alicia Anders.

Scene 11 : Carrington Mansion (Vestibule/Stairs)

While Adam and Kirby are going out, they hit Fallon and Jeff. They do not talk to each other but there is some electric energy in the air. Jeff decides to propose to Fallon as his divorce with Kirby will be finalized soon enough. Fallon does not want to rush into another marriage with Jeff. She needs to be certain that it is right this time and just needs time. Jeff is willing to give her as much time as she needs.

Scene 12 : Denver Airport

Krystle is not too surprised that Tracy is so devious. She noticed at several times that Tracy was not as candid as she seems to be.

Scene 13 : Morgue Press at Bismarck

It seems that Alicia had been released from the mental institution six months ago after it was determined that she was no longer insane. Kirby had to double check this information from the institution by going to the local newspaper. The contact at the newspaper presented Kirby with a cut out article confirming that Alicia Anders had been released. Further, this man knows where Alicia currently is.

Scene 14 : Denver Carrington (Blake Mansion)

Andrew is worried for Blake : spending a hundred millions dollars in those China Sea leases is a huge gamble. If Blake's creditors decided to foreclose, for whatever reason, before he finds some oil, he could lose your entire company. But Blake is not worried.

Scene 15 : Bismarck Cemetery

Adam and Kirby head off to where Alicia is: a cemetery. Kirby wants to meet her mother alone. She gets help from some old lady who just happens to know where Alicia's tombstone is located. Alicia also wanted to return to Denver but lacked the strength to do so.

Scene 16 : Phone booth in Bismarck/Mc Vane's apartment

The old lady confirms to McVane that she did say to Kirby all he asked her to say. McVane tells her to come back to Denver and he will give her the money he promised.

Scene 17 : ColbyCo (Secretary's office/Alexis' office)

Dex is back from L.A. to see Alexis but she is not there. Alexis's assistant let it slip that Alexis is in Hong Kong. But Steven is there and aks Dex if he delivered some flowers to Alexis while he was in Los Angeles. Dex (wondering if Alexis could have mistakenly received the flowers he sent to Tracy) asks what flowers she received. Steven explains that she did not "received" flowers but there was a violet corsage on her desk. Dex mocks Steven because he is concerned that his mother has some male admirer. Steven is offended and tells him that if Alexis has an admirer, it's him (Dexter) who should be concerned.

Scene 18 : Carrington Mansion (Nursery)

Krystle wonders if Fallon will give another chance to Jeff. Fallon suggests there is a possibility.

Scene 19 : Denver Carrington (Blake's office)

Blake summons Dexterto his office and tells him that he will not make a big deal about his scheme with Tracy. Also, as Dexter already learnt when he arrived in Los Angeles, Blake did what it takes for being sure that Oscar Stone will not buy his leases to anyone than him (Blake). But Dexter has not yet said his last word.

Scene 20 : La Mirage (Fallon's office)

Claudia gets another call from a person claiming to be Matthew but also saying the same stuff that was said on the last call. Claudia tries to get Fallon to contact the police, but the person then hangs up.

Scene 21 : Denver Street

Neal McVane "hits" on Kirby and pretends to try to figure who she is and when he already met her. Then he "remembers" that she is Kirby Anders and that he saw her at the Carousel Ball with the Carringtons. As Kirby does not seem to know him, he informs her that he is Neal McVane. Kirby is embarrassed and McVane knows why : like everyone, she heard of his affair with a Lolita which caused him to loose his position as a congressman. But he states that this scandal was caused by some scheme of Alexis Colby. The name of Alexis piques Kirby's curiosity. McVane proposes to Kirby to take a drink with him and she refuses at first but eventually changes her mind when he insists that they have a lot in common.

Scene 22 : Denver Bar

McVane knows that Kirby is the daughter of Blake's former majordomo who commited suicide (there was an article in the Denver Chronicle about it). He also knows that Joseph Anders commited suicide a few days after someone tried to kill Alexis. He knows it because Blake asked him some questions about it when he suspected him to have set the fire. He is "embarrassed" to admit that he also tried to kill her but Blake prevented him to do so. Kirby does not like this conversation and wants to leave. McVane says he is "sorry", he did not want to be morbid. However, he wishes that someday someone will have the guts to "take care" of Alexis for the pain that she has been caused. Since several people has a motive to kill her, he believes the killer will be able to do it without being unmasked by the police. Kirby leaves but McVane's suggestion has obviously troubled her, something that seems to satisfy McVane.
