Scene 1 : Detention Center

Life is rough for Alexis in jail as she awaits trial, but she has managed to get access to caviar and champagne - even a few nice pillows. Adam does not approve of his mother's actions because the press is already hammering her for being privileged and trying to be above the law.

Scene 2 : Carrington Mansion (Billard Room)

We finally learn what has been bothering Steven so far - he witnessed Mark Jennings's murder and the knowledge of who did it is killing him. Steven tells Krystle that he saw Mark Jennings fall but claims it was too dark for him to see the murderer. Steven was on his way home from the office to attend Fallon's engagement party and he actually saw Mark fall and someone on the balcony.

Scene 3 : La Mirage (Dominique's suite)

After giving Blake the good news that they are siblings, Dominique just left the mansion. Blake is suspicious of Dominique's claim to Carrington blood. But all Dominique wants is recognition for what she is - a Carrington. At La Mirage, Dominique shows some evidence to Blake : some postcards that Tom Carrington had sent to her mother with claims of endearment and love. However, Tom Carrington was a famous philanderer who wooed many women in Colorado. Blake just believes that Dominique is delusional.

Scene 4 : Carrington Mansion (Steven and Claudia's bedroom)

Steven doesn't tell Claudia what is on his mind when she tries to approach the topic. Also, contrary to what he told Krystle, his visions involve Alexis (but Steven did not see his mother push Mark).

Scene 5 : Carrington Mansion (Solarium)

L.B. wants Jeff to bring him out but Jeff does not want. Claudia will bring him with Danny but prays Jeff not to neglect his son.

Scene 6 : Denver Court (Corridor)

Alexis's trial is finally beginning.

Scene 7 : Denver Court

Adam meets Michael Cunningham, the representant of the State. There is an immediate feeling of rivalry between them.

Scene 8 : Denver Court

Michael Cunningham make his speech to the court.

Scene 9 : Denver Court

Adam makes his speech.

Scene 10 : Denver Court (Corridor)

Claudia is impressed by Adam's speech but not Steven. He gives the key of his car to Claudia, he can't go back with her.

Scene 11 : La Mirage (Sierra Room Bar)

Dominique is determined to just get one member of the Carrington clan to recognize her. She invites Krystle for a drink at La Mirage and tells her she wants to be friends. Krystle has a problem with that - she is not sure that she can trust Dominique. Dominique assures they have a lot in common as they both came from humble origins.

Scene 12 : La Mirage (Amy's bedroom)

Jeff is handling Fallon's death by getting wasted and hooking up. The problem is that he calls his date, Amy, by the name of Fallon. Amy does not like being referred to by another woman's name and demands that Jeff leaves.

Scene 13 : Carrington Mansion (Lobby/Stairs)

Jeff returns to the mansion drunk while Steven is still awake. Jeff knocks over and breaks a vase and then tells Steven that Fallon was a tramp. Steven punches Jeff who stumbles up the stairs.

Scene 14 : ColbyCo (Steven's office)

Steven listens to the radio to follow Alexis' trial.

Scene 15 : Carrington Mansion (Kitchen)

Krystle watch Alexis' trial on TV (and the staff as well !)

Scene 16 : Denver Court

The State really does not have a strong case, but they do manage to get the testimony of a neighbour who lived across the way who saw Mark on the terrace with someone else. Alexis believes that neighbour is a liar and interjects. Adam asks for a recess.

Scene 17 : Denver Court (office)

Adam tries to explain to Alexis that she needs to control herself. If she continues with self-destruction, he will go.

Scene 18 : Carrington Mansion (Library)

Blake receives a subpoena to testify against Blake.

Scene 19 : Denver Court

The State then subpoenas Blake Carrington to testify to his tumultuous marriage with Alexis. Blake even testifies that in one incident, Alexis picked up a knife (though she was drinking) and threatened to kill Blake. Adam tries to object but is overruled. Blake also testifies that pushed far enough, Alexis is capable of murder.

Scene 20 : Denver Court

On cross-examination, Blake bails out Alexis by testifying that she had no real motive to kill Mark Jennings. Alexis is grateful for Blake's testimony.

Scene 21 : Detention Center

Dex is back from another trip at Wyoming. Alexis is so happy to see him that she finally admits that she loves him.

Scene 22 : Denver Court

On the stand, Dex has to admit that he and Alexis fought in Honk-Kong. However, he isnists he was just a little argument.

Scene 23 : Carrington Mansion (Steven and Claudia's bedroom)

Steven is still tortured by his visions of Mark falling from the balcony and Alexis.

Scene 24 : Carrington Mansion (Upstairs Hallway)

Gerard gives to Steven a subpoena : the court wants him to testify against his mother.

Scene 25 : Detention Center

Steven visits his mother before court and tells her that he loves her and hopes the best for her.

Scene 26 : Denver Court (Corridor)

Things are actually looking good for Alexis as she proudly tells the press.

Scene 27 : Denver Court

That is until the State calls one last witness - Steven.
