Previous Episode : The Bungalow

Scene 1 : Denver Street (Car)/Bungalow

The forensic doctor arrives at the bungalow and examines Joeph. In the same time, the police asks some questions to Blake and Jeff.

Scene 2 : Nine Oaks (Jeff and Kirby's room/Stairs/Patio)

Jeff has the unfortunate task to tell Kirby that her father is dead as a result of suicide.

Scene 3 : Penthouse

Joseph's note to Blake was very short but it pretty much says he tried to kill Alexis to stop her from ruining another life and since he failed in that, he took his own life to quench her thirst for revenge. Alexis tells Blake that she never had any intention of telling Kirby about her mother - who appears to be some sort of nympho. Angered, Blake slaps Alexis and vows that he will finish the job Joseph started if Alexis ever attempts to tell Kirby. Alexis has no time for Blake's sanctimony.

Scene 4 : Nine Oaks (Living room)

The entire family is shattered by Joseph's death. Even Steven comes to the mansion to express his condolences. Fallon really wants her father to reconcile with Steven. Blake just cannot see how that is possible since they live in two different worlds.

Scene 5 : Nine Oaks (Jeff and Kirby's room)

Kirby is a wreck after her father's death. Blake tells her that Joseph tried to kill Alexis in order to protect Blake and stop the merger between Colby Co and Denver Carrington. That seems plausible enough.

Scene 6 : La Mirage (El Matador Bar)

Fallon sees Mark drunk and bitter. He tells her that he is moving out of La Mirage. Fallon does not seem sad about it.

Scene 7 : La Mirage (Krystle's room)

Fallon tells Krystle that Mark is leaving. Krystle does not understand why Fallon let him leave. She defends Mark as she believes he feels defeated and has a need to come off strong. Fallon asks her step-mother why she defends him? It is obvious for Krystle : Mark saved his life.

Scene 8 : El Royale (Steven's apartment)

Steven is afraid to loose Danny, especially now that he knows that Sammy Jo does not seem thrilled that Chris is living in the apartment with her son. He knows her, she is capable of the worst. Maybe Steven should do what his father wants to do. But Chris warns him : returning to the mansion means renouncing to the kind of life he want to lives. Renouncing to be what he is : gay.

Scene 9 : Carrington Mansion (Living Room)

Blake tries to show Krystle that he is a changed man. He is doing a decent job by admitting that he was wrong about Mark.

Scene 10 : La Mirage (Krystle's room)

Mark is a free man. He tells Krystle that he really appreciates that she believed in his innocence.

Scene 11 : Carrington Mansion (Library)

Blake talks to the staff about Joseph. Gerard is now the majordomo.

Scene 12 : High Meadow Sanitarium

Steven goes to the sanatorium to pick up Claudia on the day of her release.

Scene 13 : La Mirage (Exteriors/Claudia's room)

Steven brings Claudia to La Mirage. She is going to stay in Denver for a while and sells her house and Matthew's shares in the Lankershim-Blaisdel's company. Then, she will leave town even though she does not know yet where to go. Steven would like her to stay. He missed her.

Scene 14 : La Mirage (Exteriors/Tennis Court)

Alexis still fears for her life. She has the idea to hire Mark as her body guard - he is unemployed since Fallon fired him - but he refuses the position. While she is at La Mirage, Alexis tries to get information about Joseph's memorial service from Fallon. Fallon is under strict orders not to tell Alexis. It is finally found out that Joseph is the one who set the cabin on fire.

Scene 15 : El Royale (Steven's apartment)

Claudia meets Chris but their meeting does not go very well as Claudia tells Steven to make peace with Blake for the sake of Danny. On the contrary, Chris thinks Steven is right to stand up to his father. When Chris goes into his room, Claudia explains to Steven that she let Lindsay see her grandmother even though she despised that woman.

Scene 16 : Carrington Mansion (Garage Area)

Jeff tells Krystle that he is very worried about Kirby.

Scene 17 : Nine Oaks (Jeff and Kirby's room)

Kirby feels even worse. She sees this as punishment for trying to abort her child. She desperately needs to tell someone, and tells Krystlee. Krystle seems un-phased by the fact that Kirby tried to abort her child by purposely getting into that riding accident. Kirby tells her again that Jeff is not the father of the child, but that Adam is. Kirby even says that Adam raped her. Krystle tells Kirby she needs to be strong and to tell Jeff the truth about the paternity of the child before he figures it out on his own.

Scene 18 : Carrington Mansion (Library)

Andrew is not happy about Blake's idea of suing Steven for custody of Danny. It will just destroy the family. Why not try and reconcile? Blake is weary but does give it one more try.

Scene 19 : La Mirage (Hall)

Adam meets Krystle at La Mirage and tells her he is going back to Wyoming. She does not seem sad to see him leaving, especially after what she learnt from Kirby.

Scene 20 : La Mirage (Terrace)

Blake proposes a job to Claudia. But she wants to puts her life in tracks witout Blake's help.

Scene 21 : La Mirage (Fallon's office)

Adam plans on returning to Billings now that he feels completely isolated from every member of the family. Fallon does not seem too upset that he leaving since she does not trust him. Adam lied to her about Dr. Jonas and the big case involving mercuric oxide. Adam has no real answer other than he liked Fallon before he found out who she truly was. Fallon takes it upon herself to contact Billings to find a large manufacturer of mercuric oxide.

Scene 22 : El Royale (Steven's apartment)

Krystle comes at Steven's apartment while Alexis is there. They have a nth argument.

Scene 23 : Carrington Mansion (Library)

Blake summons Steven to the study. When Blake mentions Andrew, Steven figures out that Blake is contemplating suing for custody. Blake says there are other ways to work this out - such as have Steven and Danny move back into the mansion. Or, even better, Steven can just give Blake Danny who will be raised by Krystle when she finally decides to return. Steven is not going to have any of this and most definitely will not allow his father to use his child to get Krystle back. Finally, the two get into a physical altercation. Blake vows this is not over and that he will sue for custody of his grandson.
