Anecdote[]
Jerome Courtland had great difficulties to film a scene in which Joan Collins is seen in profile on the phone because of the enormous high angel-shaped sleeves of Pierre Cardin's gown. The producers were so furious that they prohibited shoulder pads on the set for a while. They eventually changed their mind as shoulder pads were all the rage at the time.
